I was spoil today by a Swedish lady with these delicious traditional Syrup Snippers that are a traditional Scandinavian christmas biscuit. They tasted a bit like a gingerbread. Very nice...

Its always nice to support the local community , but these days most shops are either owned by huge companies such as Coles, Woolworths and Westfarmers.   And now you can buy anything from anywhere with The world wide web .  I received these quirky earrings from Brooklyn, New York.  Took 3 weeks but I love them and it was worth the wait.

Had a Christmas catch up for coffee and with my friends today at  "The Giddy Goat".  Ralda and Wendy posed it up for me( not that they had a lot of say).  I love these times together, and each of us we had a little show and tell of things that have been happening to each of us in our lives.  I think that is the new rule from now on.  Such fun.

A georgous day...

spent in the pool then a nice trip to the beach and got sand between my toes and took in the salt air.  Then to top if off, I spent a couple of hours in the garden. Life is good.

It has taken me a good week to make this little dotee doll.  Hopefully the first one always takes the longest and the next ones won't take as long.  But I enjoyed making her.  She was worth it.
