Tami   (alias Monster Maud)  sent me these old cigar boxes that she found in Montana.  In america they are painting and decorating these boxes like nothing I've ever seen.  Oh what a challenge.  Oh how I need inspiration.  Thanks Monster.....

Gustav Klimt appropriation...

finally gave this painting to my daughter of  "Mother and Child" by Gustav Klimt. I did this at art class and the project was to paint a famous painting and alter it. This is mine.

new art room...

I am so excited that finally I will have my own space to clutter and create how I want , instead of turning the granny flat into an absolute mess of chaos.  This is a before shot of the now cleaned up bike room. Just the cupboard, painting and floor covering and then its ready to go.  Got some fun stuff to hang.  Very exciting.

painted today....

the weather has been so horrible for two weeks now so painting is about all I have been doing.  Even though if takes forever to dry.   So a couple of small canvases to paint was nice, easy and enjoyable.
